Anyone can eat raw food. Think about it. Nutritional value is increased with fresh, organic raw foods. The energy you’ll feel is terrific!
I’ve been doing a Raw Food diet for about 3 weeks now. I am really enjoying it.
If you were to try eating only raw food, whether it is a short time or for the summer
perhps, here are some tips you need to know about.
Detox: During the first few days, and maybe longer you may feel the symptoms of detoxing.
These may include headaches, emotional sensivitiy, loose bowels, feeling as if you
are getting sick, and irritiability. If you make sure to drink plenty of fluids you may
often avoid these sysmtoms. Your body is flushing out toxins.
Weight loss: Most people will experience some weight loss. I lost about 7 pounds my first
week. Since then I have lost about 2 pounds a week. Since I have been losing weight for
some time, I am satisfied. If you are just starting to lose weight, the results may be better.
Also, I do light exercises due to injuries. Exercise would accelerate weight loss.
Eating Raw food demands creativity, and hope. Stock up on veggies and fruits. There are a few
raw food energy bars. Avoid soy ingredients. Look for nuts, fruits, seeds, and honey. There
are a few raw food crackers. Salads, cold soups, munching on veggies, and sprouts help.
Proteins. Most vegetables have proteins. Lots of nuts and sprouts help. Protein shakes are out
they are not raw. My personal exception is using a collagen supplement (for joint issues) which has 5 mg
protein per scoop.
