Mecca Part Deux
This is a message for all San Francisco Bay Area foodies. And those who want to make the pilgrimage.
There’s a warehouse just south of San Francisco, operated by Le Village, a French food distributor. Every year, just a few times a year, the warehouse opens to the public. This is a great opportunity for those interested in French cuisine to buy great products ranging from cheeses to wine to the best yogurt that money can buy (**okay, maybe I’m biased, but this yogurt could turn a lactose-intolerant person into a true believer**).
I attended this event several years ago and it was so wonderful that I regretted not being able to find information on it until recently when I rediscovered it through the magic of Google.
I encourage anyone with time and inclination to check out the warehouse openings. Other offerings at the warehouse included pates, French ciders and juices, spices, chocolates and other delicious foodstuffs. Bon appetit!

Sounds divine. Right up my alley. I’ll have to ask for a day off, but well worth it.

[...] As I stated before, in my post entitled “Mecca Part Deux,” the Le Village warehouse openings are as follows. I encourage all foodies in the Bay Area to visit the warehouse for great food gifts, free tastings of different French foods and beverages, and a great time. You may even find me staring longingly at the pate table. Or eating the rest of the baguettes… [...]
